The shopping cart isn't working! What's going on?
People frequently have trouble with the online shopping cart or Paypal system. Send me an email (annie@derangeddesigns.com) or myspace message and tell me what isn't working. I can help you out or find an alternative way for you to pay.

Can you make me a custom order?
No. I've gone back and forth on this for ages but it is very hard to fit something to somebody that I cannot see in person. If you can actually come to my studio for a fitting, you will inevitably not want to pay what I have to charge you, especially if you are a friend of mine. This is what I have learned from past experiences. I'm not trying to rip you off, I'm trying to pay my rent, feed myself, and get 2 college degrees at the same time. Custom orders take much longer than regular orders.

When will my order be shipped?
With the exception of custom made items (hoodies and leggings), everything will be shipped within 7 days of ordering, but usually it takes me only 3 or 4 days. If you need me to ship something right away let me know. If you ordered something that is made to order, it may take a few extra days for me to mail it. Custom hoodies and leggings will take up to 2 WEEKS for me to sew and ship.

If you think its taking too long for your stuff to get to you, send me a message with your name and what you ordered. US orders will take up to 10 days from the day you ordered, but international orders vary. Again, made to order things may take a few extra days. None of my packages have EVER been lost in the mail, so don't worry about the post office being unreliable.

Can I model clothes/take pictures for you?
It's easiest for me to model and photograph most things by myself. If I ever need extra help, I will post a myspace bulletin, or check out Model Mayhem. If you are doing a free photoshoot or fashion show with local designers and models, I may be interested, as long as you give me a time and place. I know that the pictures I take aren't always very good, but I'm not organized enough right now to use actual models and photographers. If you REALLY want to be a model, show up at my house and I'll let you try some clothes on.

Do you accept trades?
YES! I will trade you clothes for MONEY! Other than that, there are two exceptions: Punk rock band shirts and beer. If you have a lot of old shirts, I can probably do a trade with you. If you are at my house and have a few beers and want me to fix your clothes or sew patches on your vest, I can do that as well. But I should warn you that I will probably be drinking while I sew.

Do you book shows? Can you book a show in Sacramento for my band?
I do not book shows, but these guys do: Sacto Pyrate Punx and you can also check out Sacramento Punk Shows myspace to see what local bands and venues we have around here.

I'm a graphic designer. Can you pay me to make images for you?
Again, if it's free, then I'm interested. Otherwise, my budget is too small for the rates that I've heard from graphic designers.

I run a website/magazine/etc. and I think it would be a great idea for you to pay me to advertise!
I have no room in my budget for advertising. I can barely afford to copy my own flyers. I live on ramen and cheap beer. Please stop asking for my money!

Do you screenprint? Can you screen me a patch/t-shirt/etc.?
I do NOT screenprint. I can't make you any custom prints. I get band t-shirts from licensed distributors or directly from the bands and do not print them myself.

Where can I find a *insert band name* patch/t-shirt/etc.?
Try angryyoungandpoor.com, interpunk.com, and punkstuff.com. Then ask me this question!

Do you sell wholesale? Can I carry any of your items in my store?
Currently I do not sell anything wholesale, but I am open to offers. I can also do consigment with stores in Northern California.

Do you have this item in another size?
All size options are listed in the drop down menu on the item page. Most DIY items are one of a kind, and if only one size is listed then I will not be making another. Clothes from other brands (like Sourpuss or No Future) do have other size options, usually small through large.

Where do you buy your fabric?
I get my fabric from Jo-ann, Hancock, and Hi-Fashion Fabrics in Sacramento, as well as several internet stores like fabric.com. Crazy animal prints come from spandexhouse.com or spandexworld.com.

This top/hoodie/etc. doesn't fit, even though you said it was a medium. Can I return it?
Yes! Send an email to annie@derangeddesigns.com or send me a myspace message and we'll work out the return/exchange. Made to order or altered items may only be exchanged for credit, not cash. If something doesn't fit, let me know right away because I do not accept returns if you've held on to it for a while. If you ordered the item over a month ago, I won't accept a return.

To make sure that something will fit you, please carefully read all of the measurements I list. If you don't understand them, go to the size chart on the left menu. Just because I put medium and you consider yourself a medium does not mean that the item will fit. If you need more measurements, or have questions about the fit of an item, feel free to contact me.

Who sews all your clothes for you?
I sew everything myself. Some items are made by other brands, which will be specified on the item pages on my website. I don't hire anybody else to sew for me, and my original designs are not mass produced. I do sometimes put up vintage or recycled clothing for sale. In that case, who the hell knows who sewed it.

I really like this hoodie, but it's in a girl's size, and I'm a guy. Can I still buy it?
The hoodies I make can be worn by anybody. To convert the size to men's sizes just divide the bust measurement by two, and that is the pit to pit measurement. Measure your best fitting hoodie and see how they compare. Unfortunately most hoodies I make are too small for guys.

How do I wash this item?
Most things I make should be handwashed or machine washed with cold water. For more complicated designs, please handwash. I also recommend hand washing pvc and faux fur fabrics.
